Ed Werner of ESPN is reporting that Zygi Wilf has stated that he will not be firing Childress after today’s loss to the Chicago Bears.

Please let me state on the behalf of all Minnesota Vikings fans… Why the hell not!?  Seriously, at this point were on the outside of being able to make the playoffs and it’s more than obvious that Childress has lost the respect of the locker room.  It’s time to audition Defensive Coordinator for the remaining games and look for the future.     Zygi… it’s time to let Childress go!
