Now that the lockout has officially ended the NFL is starting to get back into full swing. Just shortly after the lockout ending was announce The Wilf’s made a public announcement regarding the Vikings and their yearly training camp help in Mankato.
“We wanted to prolong our decision as long as possible in an effort to maintain our training camp tradition of practicing in front of Vikings fans in Mankato,” Vikings president Mark Wilf said in a statement released by the team. “The Vikings appreciate the patience and flexibility shown by Minnesota State University and the Mankato community in making this work, and we look forward to returning to our training camp home in August.”
This is fantastic news. Not only do we find out the lockout is officially done with but we also get to watch the Vikes down in Mankato for the 46th consecutive year. Now the big question is who will be there? Sidney Rice? Ray Edwards? At this point we don’t know. Stay tuned!
