Vikings Cut Safety Madieu Williams

July 28, 2011 by Nick in FREE AGENTS

As many Vikings fans had expected (and some hoped) Medieu Williams has been cut.  It has everything to do with his un willingness to restructure a contract that was due to pay him over 6 million dollars this season.  The next cap casualty cut could be Bernard Berrian if he isn’t willing to restructure either.  Fortunately for Berrian, with Rice leaving the vikes its more likely that his services are needed on this team.  With the Vikings trading for McNabb his deep threat abilities may come in handy.

here’s to hoping the Vikings will go after Safety Michael Huff to replace him.
