Heath Farwell & Jeff Dugan Cut In Vikings Efforts To Get To 53 Players

Several more roster cuts have been reported today in the Vikings efforts to meet the 53 man roster limit for the beginning of the season.  This round of cuts had two surprising names on it.  Special teams extraordinaire Heath Farwell and tight end Jeff Dugan.

Receivers Emmanuel Arceneaux and Juaquin Iglesias, fullback Matt Asiata and linebacker Ross Homan have also been told that they will be waived.

 

While not official, its also been said that the Viking plan to cut this years draft pick, seventh-round receiver Stephen Burton.  You can read here the other Vikings players that we’re cut yesterday or earlier this morning.
