Player Injury Reports

EJ Henderson Questionable For Vikings / Chiefs Game

October 1, 2011 by Nick in Player Injury Reports

ESPN.com is reporting that EJ Henderson is questionable this weekend with a bruised left knee.  Henderson has been dealing with this injury since week one but is still expected to play this weekend according to coach Frazier. Frazier did hint at Henderson possibly having a limited amount of playing time though.

“Of course I probably feel like that,” Henderson said when asked if he could take his usual number of snaps. “But if I was being honest with myself, I probably would say I’m not 100 percent. So, you know, its definitely the coach’s decision, but I think it’s a smart thing to maybe cut back on the reps a little bit and let it heal up.”

Linebacker isn’t exactly the Vikings deepest position so let’s hope that Henderson is feeling well Sunday and gets his playing time.  The last thing we need the Chiefs picking apart our linebackers all day Sunday.
