Vikings vs Bears Pre Game Prediction – NFL Week 6

October 15, 2011 by Nick in Game Predictions

The Vikings last week sealed their first victory in the 2011-12 season.  This week they work on their second win against a divisional rival Chicago Bears.   The Bears have been struggling mightily this season and had a nasty loss handed to them by the Detroit Lions.  Might I add that this is the same Lions team that the Vikings should have defeated just a couple weeks ago!

Rumor has it that pro-bowl defensive end Julius Peppers will be out for this game which definitely plays to the Vikings advantage.   Outside of Adrian Peterson the Vikings offense hasn’t shown anything fantastic.  Hopefully this week it will change as McNabb should have a better opportunity to make plays through the air.

The key to winning this game will be to ride Adrian Peterson -  just like last week.   Peterson has proven that if you give him the rock that he will single handedly win games for the Vikings.   Assuming the Vikings defense steps up like they did the past couple weeks the Vikings could easily walk away with win number two.   Antoine Winfield may not play again this weekend but the Bears wide receivers are one of the very few receiving cores I think can’t tear the Vikings secondary apart.  This obviously plays to the Vikings advantage.

The Vikings pull this one out without too much stress.  21 – 10.   SKOL VIKES
