Jared Allen Is The NFC Defensive Player Of The Month.

November 3, 2011 by Nick in player awards

With a 2-6 season there isn’t a whole lot that Vikings fans are excited about.  However, defensive end Jared Allen is having a pro-bowl year.  With over 12 sacks so far this season Allen is on pace to break Michael Strahans 22.5 sack record.

The National Football League has announced that Jared Allen has been named the NFC Defensive Player of the month.   He is the first to win the award since Darren Sharper did in 2005.

Heres to a strong second half season and the 10 more sacks needed to win the sack title!
